Research
Ryan is a postdoctoral research fellow in the department of Sociology at Columbia University, working on a book about institutional disaster risk management in New York City. His research interests sit at the intersection of organizations, cities, the environment, and the sociology of science, knowledge and technology. Currently, Ryan is co-leading the COVID-19 in New York project.
