Chris Pandza - Incite at Columbia University

Chris Pandza is a Canadian curator and oral historian who led Incite's digital initiatives from 2022 to 2025.

Chris' work combines computational methods and inclusive design to make archives more accessible, beautiful, and equitable. His projects at Incite included the Obama Presidency Oral History, Baldwin-Emerson Elders Project, and the Movements Against Mass Incarceration oral history, which have been honored by the Webby, Anthem, and Oral History Association Awards.

His work has been covered by MSNBC, the New York Times, the Society of American Archivists, and It's Nice That. He has been invited to share his work at Cornell University, Yale University, the Northeastern Public Humanities Consortium, and the Oral History Association.

Chris now leads Department of Memory, a practice helping organizations do more with their archives.
