Sam is a data scientist at INCITE involved with the Liberal Arts Education Project. He is currently a senior at Columbia majoring in Computer Science and Philosophy, and he is starting his MS in Computer Science in Fall 2019. His senior thesis focused on the philosophical implications of the various mathematical formulations of fairness in the field of fairness in machine learning.
