Days after the attack, researchers at the Columbia Center for Oral History (CCOHR) began asking New Yorkers to describe their experience of the most harrowing day in the city’s history.
The New York Times covers the project around the 10th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks using voices from CCOHR's archive.
